Replacing Mac Mini HDD with 64GB Kingston SSD

These are more notes to remind me when I did this, mostly so I know how long the drive survives before failing.

This is Kingston 64GB SSDNow 100V drive #2 which is a warranty replacement for the first drive that malfunctioned after around four months.

I’ve moved the OSX swapfile onto a regular HDD that is installed in the optical bay by following these instructions. If I recreate those instructions I need to remember to check the ownership of the plist file.

Time to break out the paint scrapers and auto-booting TimeMachine backup!
