Just some notes to remind me next year…
Stuff that worked
- Hanging baskets with strawberries in
- The greenhouse
- Peas
- Beans
- Chillies
- Tomatoes
- Brambles
- Grow bags from the 99p shop
Stuff that didn’t work
- Beetroot (I got one… as in a single beetroot)
- Herbs (Except the mint which has gone mad)
- Lettuce (well, it grew but nobody ate it, so it went funny)
So next year plant more beans and peas, but give them things to climb up. The pea plants kept falling over, as did the tomatoes.
